Ministries Korean Spanish Vietnamese School

Our purpose is to lead people to the Lord Jesus Christ and to help each other become more like Him day by day.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42).

At Bethel Baptist, we believe that regular fellowship is vital to the spiritual growth and development of every believer. In Acts 2:42, there is a close relationship between doctrine and fellowship. Hebrews 10:23-25 ties these two elements together as we are directed to assemble for the purpose of exhorting one another, stirring each other “unto love and to good works.” It is clear that the New Testament church met together for fellowship as well as for preaching and teaching. Further, whether they were meeting for exhortation or for fellowship, each would accompany the other. In addition to the Adult Sunday School program, our men and women also meet for fellowship and exhortation. Various fellowship activities and trips are also planned periodically.

The following Sunday morning classes provide excellent choices for our adult community:

Berean Class, taught by Terry Cantrell, J.D, the administrator of Bethel Baptist School, who has over 30 years experience teaching the Bible. He challenges the class to know the Scriptures and to apply them throughout the course of the week. He is practical, yet very informative.

Ladies Class, taught by Candide Lopez, with years of experience in Bible teaching and in ministry to ladies. Her instruction and counsel give encouragement and guidance to the ladies of our church.

Our College/Singles Ministry is geared toward young adult singles. You do not have to be in college to be apart of this ministry.

We are young married couples with a deep desire to know God more intimately and build families upon the foundation of God’s Word.

In addition to various Sunday school classes available for men are various other activities to be involved in.

Our ladies ministry meets regularly on fourth Friday of the month. We call our meetings “CareConnection.”

The goal of our Spanish ministry is to minister to those in our community who are primarily Spanish-speakers.
