Attending a church for the first time can be scary enough, but to do it with a baby could be considered frightening. Questions arise “Will they let me keep my baby in the service?” “How do I know my child will be safe in the nursery?” “My child has special needs will they know how to handle it?” We understand.
Our nursery is available during the 11am service on Sundays and during Connection Groups at 7pm on Wednesdays and is staffed with friendly, helpful volunteers – many of them mothers themselves. They are more than willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
We believe it is important to reach children while they are young and bring them to a knowledge of Jesus. We have various age-specific classes both on Sundays at 11am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm that teach the Bible at their own learning level.
We encourage our teens to participate in our connection groups. These multi-generational relationships are helpful to all involved. We also schedule regular youth activities, youth rallies, retreats and camps throughout the year.
We offer a variety of small group gatherings and fellowships for adults. At Bethel Baptist, we believe that doing life together is vital to the spiritual growth and development of every believer.
Our preaching is always an exposition of a Bible passage. Expository preaching means that a Bible passage is explained in its context, and then applied to our daily lives.
We are currently supporting about fifty foreign and home missions projects. According to Acts 1:8, the work of evangelism is to be done simultaneously at home and abroad. In addition to our local work, we are enjoined to help evangelize other parts of our country, as well as evangelizing the world beyond our borders. Come check out our interactive missions display, where you can see pictures, read letters, and watch videos from our missionaries.
Bethel Baptist School is a K-12, fully accredited private school that meets on our campus. We also offer support for home-schooling families through Bethel Baptist Academy.
